Jesus is our boss. Really. According to the Apostle Paul, Jesus is "the head of the church." And at GVF we take that very seriously, which is why you won't find one, single person in charge. We're a family. We're a team. Some people on the team have different roles, some lead out front and others lead from behind, but we all work together to build God's kingdom.
As lead pastor, Paul is a member of the Elder Board and serves as the spiritual and strategic leader for GVF. A graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, Paul spent just over a decade doing ministry in the land of Longhorns & Cowboys before moving to the Philly area in 2010. Paul is an incurable coffee drinker, avid reader, & dedicated treehouse-builder. He loves playing kickball with his kids, swing dancing with his wife, studying ancient Hebrew texts, and Jesus (not in that order).
Born into a large and loud Italian family, Michael grew up around Hershey, PA. He has served in the National Guard since 2001, and today serves as an officer in the Chaplaincy of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He holds a B.S. in Biblical Studies from Cairn University, and is a graduate of Evangelical Seminary where he earned an MDiv with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling. His greatest accomplishment was marrying his beautiful wife Anna. Because of her, he gets to run around building forts and battling imaginary bad guys with their adorably silly daughter Maszie and comedically stubborn son Chancellor.
Amy is fresh on board GVF as the Director of Community Life and Women's Ministry. Born and raised in Texas, she holds her Masters and Doctorate degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and is an avocados worst nightmare. Amy has worked in various global ministries including the Middle East and South Africa. Recently moving back to the States from living abroad for the past 6 years, she brings with her passion to equip, encourage, and empower the local church and specifically the women in their congregations. Amy and her South African husband, Marnus, can be found walking other people's dogs, settling into their gingerbread of a house, and outside enjoying a climate with four seasons.

As a sound engineer by trade, Clint runs the technical side of things at GVF, making sure everything goes smoothly with sound, lighting, etc. Graduating with a B.A. in youth ministry from Eastern University, his part in ministry looks a bit different from what he imagined, but he loves it. After starting a company called Philamedia with his twin brother, Clint currently runs the audio side of the business, focusing on their recording studio and live venue. He lives with his wife, Ally, in Brewerytown, Philadelphia and coaches high school wrestling in that area. As a musician, Clint usually spends his free time blurring the line between what he does for work and fun, because they’re pretty much the same thing.
