GVF meets for worship every Sunday morning at 10:30am at the Phoenixville Area Middle School.
Phoenixville Area Middle School
1330 Main Street in Phoenixville
Sunday mornings from 10:30–11:50am
What should I expect?
We want our Sunday morning services to be relaxed, comfortable, fun, and inspiring. But most of all we want to give you a taste of who God is through our worship experience. Here's a quick breakdown of what you can expect:
When you arrive at the Middle School, there is plenty of parking in the main lot. The entrance to the auditorium is on the right side, facing the school, with GVF signs pointing the way.
When you enter, there will be a greeter to welcome you, answer any questions you might have, and point you in the right direction.
If you come early, starting at 10am we have coffee and donuts in the lobby area. If you have young children (newborn–5th grade), you can sign your children in for Kids of Grace. Infants–3 year olds may get registered and go to their classes starting at 10:15am.
At 10:30 everyone will begin moving into the auditorium, where there is reserved seating for guests in the back rows. As you enter, you'll be handed a bulletin with information about upcoming events and a section you can fill out if you'd like to hear from us.
The worship service goes from 10:30–11:50. Each service starts with upbeat, inspiring worship led by one of our GVF bands. You're free to join in as you feel comfortable.
Next there will be teaching from the Bible that will be relevant, helpful, and challenging to your life.
After the sermon, there's a closing song and then the congregation is dismissed. As you leave, we hope you'll stop by the Welcome Table and learn more about how to get plugged in at GVF.
What should I wear?
We're pretty informal. On a Sunday morning, you'll see a wide range of dress with everything from business casual to shorts and flip flops. Bottom line: wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing and you'll fit right in.
Will I have to introduce myself to everyone?
Nope. We won't single you out as a guest and we won't ask you to meet anyone you don't want to. However, we would like to get to know you, so we hope you'll fill out the information form in the bulletin. We'll follow up with an email and answer any questions you have and that's it.
What do I do with my kids?
We offer age-appropriate classes for young children, from newborn through 6th grade. Nursery age children and toddlers (4 yrs) can get registered and go to their classes starting at 10am. Older children attend the first part of the worship service and released to their classes before the teaching time. Learn more about Kids of Grace
Should I bring anything?
Nope. Just show up and we'll do our best to take care of the rest.
I have a question that wasn't answered.
If there is anything that we haven't covered, you can ask your questions here and we'll answer you as quickly as possible.
