Before you show up to a church, it's nice to know what to expect. You can find an brief introduction to GVF here. But, if you really want to get to know us, you need to stop by some Sunday morning.  We meet at the Phoenixville Area Middle School - it's much better than it sounds - every Sunday morning at 10:30AM. We'll save you a cup of coffee & good seat.

What should I expect?

Whether you grew up in church or are totally new to this God stuff, GVF's Sunday morning gatherings are for you. We want to be a safe place for you to struggle, explore, & question things. Wherever you are at in your walk with God we just want to help you take the next step. Here are a list of FAQs that might help answer a few of your questions. If we missed something, feel free to email us & we'll get back asap.

Should get all dressed up?
Probably not. We're pretty informal. On a Sunday morning, you'll see a wide range of dress but jeans are pretty standard around here.

Anything tricky about the parking?
Not usually. If you pull onto the school property from State Road & head straight back, there's a large parking lot just over the bridge.

Do you have something for my  kids?
You betcha! We love kids & have tons of them at GVF. We offer age-appropriate, high-energy classes for all the kids up to 8th grade. Our secure check-in is just inside the doors. Nursery to 4-year-old can head straight to their rooms. Older children attend the first part of the worship service and get released to their classes before the teaching time. Learn more about Kids of Grace.

Will the music be full of drums & guitars or traditional hymns?
Probably both. Our band usually has drums and guitars, but we find some old time hymns worth savoring. Having said this, no one ever accused us of being too traditional.

What's the message like?
We usually spend about 40 minutes of our gatherings looking at the Scriptures. If you aren't used to church or are only used to more traditional church experiences, this might be a bit hard to explain. You might want to browse our recent messages to get the idea.
